you see, your relation with us Indonesian.. it won't last long.. do you really think that we're all family ? you can claim anything and do whatever you want with other country, but not with Indonesia.. you said that our flag was the imitation of dutch flag, and we said that your anthem song is the imitation of mamula moon.. of course you defend yourself, and so do we... but if you claim something that you think we both shared, then you are wrong.. you may show Barongsai and other culture products from any country that you desire.. but that's not the case for Indonesia... if we really have something in common, then there's no other way than struggle for it.. we struggle because we know what we're struggling for... for example, food like rendang and satay, and also the song rasa sayang... you have it for decades and you think that you really "own" it.. you should know the "origin" of what you people have in your country, just look on the wikipedia, you'll know that the things that I mentioned, it's all from Indonesia.. you can sell and eat rendang all you want.. but you can't name your restaurant "malaysian rendang and chicken".. I know how long food like pizza has existed for years in Indonesia.. but is it because it's originally belong to far out country in Europe so we can't claim it? no, it's because pizza is like noodle, it's a global food product.. so even if there are food's name like Indonesian noodle and such.. even a child know that it's not originally from Indonesia.. as for rendang,it's popular in malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore.. but you think because it's so "popular", and it become a major and daily product in your country for years, now you think you can claim it as culture heritage ? you think that Minangkabau people from Indonesia brought rendang to you in ancient age, and so you think that we share it as a well known tradisional food, but "you" are the one who said so.. we don't acknowledge it, we just have to stand for it, it's not about showing the culture of asia to international world, it's because of our country's value..we have a value for everything that we have and achieve for our country, every small fragment of culture and ethnic.. something that you won't bother for, something that you won't respect..
